We will also be discussing plans for a July 16 concert by Ali Amr from Ramallah, Palestine. You may remember Ali Amr from the summer 2006 tour of the Al Raja Dancers from Ramallah, Palestine. The dancers accompanied by Ali Amr shared their culture and joy of dancing and music with us at Xavier Auditorium. Ali is now at the Berklee School of Music, Boston studying. We plan to enjoy his music on July 16 at 7pm at the Thompson Community Center. A freewill offering to assist him in completing his education will be taken. We will plan further at the May 12 meeting.
